SoundCure Engages UC Irvine Scientist to Aid in Development of Tinnitus Technology

Boston, Massachusetts – SoundCure developer of a novel new audio based therapy for the treatment of tinnitus, has hired Dr. Qing Tang as Director of the development efforts to commercialize the technology.  Dr. Tang was most recently a postdoctoral student at the University of California at Irvine, where he also received his doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Tang's research has been in the areas of Intensity Coding in Acoustic and Electric Hearing and Speech Processing for Auditory Prostheses.  As Director of Development, Dr. Tang's role will be primarily focused on the development of an automated tool to help in the diagnosis of tinnitus and the generation of our customized tinnitus suppression tones.
